Description

The Supply of an ADS equipment package to be supplied into the Hydrogen-3 Advanced Technology Facility at UKAEA's Culham Campus. The scope of work is expected to be delivered, installed, and commissioned within an estimated duration of 36 months.
Sub-system Package - the package scope of work includes design, manufacture, assembly, Factory Acceptance Testing, delivery, supply, installation, Site Acceptance Testing and commissioning.
Design - the package is to be produced by the Contractor and must support and contain the process equipment. Contractor is to identify tie-in connection points to process services as well as main process connections, process line and EC&I connections.
Manufacturing, FAT, Delivery, Installation and SAT - the package requires manufacture, assembly, installation, and SAT. This involves delivery and installation of all the equipment fabricated/procured by the Contractor to include provision of interface control and electrical distribution boxes and specific tie points for process services and process connections etc. The Contractor shall undertake Factory Acceptance Testing to demonstrate the functionality of the ADS equipment assemblies, Site Acceptance Testing, and Integrated testing upon complete installation of the ADS Equipment Package.
A full review of all documentation will be conducted by the Office of the Chief Engineer to ensure the ADS equipment assemblies meet all the requirements prior to delivery. The Contractor will deliver the equipment to Culham Campus and install. The Contractor will be required to carry out Site Acceptance Testing while a third party will conduct commissioning.
Commissioning - The commissioning of the fully integrated subsystems shall be carried out by the UKAEA Operations team with support from the Systems Integrator and the Contractor. During inactive commissioning all operations will be tested, and the plant performance assessed under a wide range of expected operating conditions.
