Published for Transparency: In October 2017, the Prime Minister commissioned a Review of the Mental Health Act (1983) seeking to address concerns about how the legislation is currently used.

As part of the evidence gathering process, the Review has consulted with service users and carers through an online and hard copy survey. The Review requires a third party organisation to conduct qualitative analysis of the survey.
