These works include the exposing of existing foundations, inspection of the structural integrity of the exposed foundations and collapsed wall material, rebuild of the wall and subsequent aftercare treatment works.
The construction of the wall shall be in line with Historic England regeneration expectations as well as being comparable to recent rebuilt sections of the wall.
General works will include:
• Assessment of current state of wall/materials
• Procurement of materials
• Re-build of the wall
• Producing construction drawings
• Producing method statements
• Producing material submittal (inclusive of bond patterns for approval)
• Provide a test panel for approval
The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the surrounding environment to the existing standard and repairing any damages made due to the transportation of construction materials/plant.
