Description

The Council offers an organisational wide defined benefit pension scheme to the workforce. This scheme is funded through a combination of employee and employers contributions (%age of salary) with contribution rates informed by the tri-annual valuation of the defined benefit pension scheme. This valuation process is highly technical and there is a requirement to explore and test the assumptions within the current valuation.
