Description

The Regulator is seeking a Provider for pre-employment security screening to commence 2018; however set up and training elements maybe required in advance resulting in the contract commencing prior to this date. Contract duration will be for an initial three [3] year period, with the option to extend the contract for two further 12 month periods (i.e. a maximum of five [5] years).

A tender is required to cover the capabilities we are seeking from Potential Providers. The specific areas to be addressed within the tender are detailed below and reflected in the evaluation criteria.

As a public body the regulator is mandated to comply with the pre-employment controls which address the problems of identity fraud, illegal working and deception which may pose serious risks to reputation, integrity and financial assets.

The BPSS describes those pre-employment controls the regulator is mandated to apply to direct employees, direct temporary staff and direct interim staff. These security checks provide one criterion upon which the decision to employ will be based.
