Description

The CRIS solution must have the capability to manage the administration and management of the research life cycle for all research active staff and administration staff.

It must have the ability to integrate with a number of corporate systems already in place within the University. These will include but not be limited to HR, Student Records, Finance and Publication Repository. Suppliers are asked to give reference sites where their solutions have been installed and interfaced with existing software solutions.

Similarly the solution must be capable of integrating with a number of external systems including but not limited to Scopus, Scival and HEIDI. Again the University would appreciate reference sites where such integration has been achieved on behalf of a client.

An ability to mop up previously disparate data not held in corporate systems is necessary and discussions on how the solution would do this will be discussed at the presentation stage of the PQQ.

The solution needs to provide workflows for data validation and control leading to accuracy of information.

The system proposed requires the ability to attach an individual to various research groupings and University hierarchies

The system needs the ability to have flexible fields to capture information not stored elsewhere in other connected systems.

The system must provide a web based user friendly interface to the system for all levels of access.
