Description
South Gloucestershire Council is seeking expressions of interest from organisations to provide enhanced nursing home services for adults with dementia, including younger adults, who may be exhibiting psychiatric symptoms or behaviour that challenges as well as dementia.
Nursing homes rated by CQC as good or outstanding may offer enhanced services for a single service user or more.
The contract will start in November 2017 and will run until 31st March 2020. We are able to offer community mental health team support for nursing homes within or close to the South Gloucestershire borders.
A flexible staffing approach is required with tapering levels of support required as service users settle in and triggers and other individual behaviour management techniques become familiar.
