Description
Sheepstor Public Bridleway 10 is located in the south west of the National Park and provides an important strategic link from Burrator to Princetown via Nun's Cross across the open moor for a variety of users (mainly for recreational purposes).
The aim of this contract is to improve an 800m section of bridleway that is currently difficult to use due to stone being washed away through erosion. Undertake erosion repairs: loose scraping of surface, infilling and re-profiling eroded areas, lay sub base material and cap with top dressing. Final surface to be profiled and compacted. Clean any existing ditches along the route, maintaining fall and profile sides with appropriate batter. Dispose of arisings on site in agreement with DNPA Authorised Officer.
