Description
A new café is being created in the newly refurbished Assay Office at King Edward Mine, Troon, Nr Camborne.
The café operation should add value to the visitor and community offer at King Edward Mine, achieve good feedback from all users and should include consideration of local sourcing of employment and products, as well as good environmental credentials, such as for recycling.
KEM Ltd wishes to offer the café as a concession and is looking for a business to come forward to run the café and help raise the profile of King Edward Mine Museum as a 'gateway' to the Great Flat Lode historic landscape. Our aim is to attract more leisure visitors from across Cornwall and beyond, and also for King Edward Mine to be used as a social hub for the surrounding communities.
This is being offered on the basis of a 5 year agreement from July 2016.
