Description
The project consists of progression of the feasibility design, planning approval and construction to expand Long Field Spencer Academy (Secondary School) in Melton Mowbray.
Procurement will be undertaken as a Two Stage activity which will allow LCC to let the design stage under a preconstruction service agreement and then follow on with a construction stage contract following planning approval and construction costs have been established. LCC will have the opportunity to assess the construction stage affordability before progressing into the construction contract and will obtain cost plans during the design stage. This project is required to support provision of sufficient secondary school places in Melton Mowbray due to housing development.
The scope of this contract is preconstruction services.
