Description

Provision of Road Marshals in Yeovil own centre.South Somerset District Council and Somerset County Council have worked in partnership to increase available space to enable social distancing in Yeovil town centre. This has been done in response to the Covid-19 epidemic.
Two temporary road closure points have been installed under emergency powers. One can be found at High Street (at the junction of Princes St/Westminster St/Hendford), preventing traffic from entering High St the Borough area and Silver St.
The second closure point can be found on Union Street (at the junction of Peter St and Wine St), preventing traffic from entering the upper part of Middle Street adjacent to M&S and WH Smith retailers).
