Description
The Contracting Authority is leading on the procurement process to establish a Framework Agreement for the Supply of Educational Storage Solutions, Library, Soft Seating and Outdoor Furniture (herein after referred to as "Goods") and is seeking suitably qualified Contractors to supply the Goods and any related Services under any Agreement resulting from this tendering exercise. Details of the Goods required under this Agreement are given in the Specification, Schedule 1 of the Framework Agreement document.
The requirement is split into the following Lots:
LOT 1: ESSENTIALS STORAGE
LOT 2: CLASSROOM STORAGE
LOT 3: LIBRARY FURNITURE
LOT 4: ESSENTIALS SOFT SEATING
LOT 5: SOFT SEATING
LOT 6: OUTDOOR FURNITURE
Lots 1 and 4: Single Contractor Award - Contractors must bid for all lines in order to be considered for this Lot. Lots 1 and 4 are considered as the 'Basic' or Essentials range.
Lot 2,3,5 and 6: Will be awarded on a line-by-line basis to a maximum of 5 contractors per Line. Successful contractors will be placed in rank order based on the scores after evaluation and moderation.
Organisations should be aware that due to the nature of the Services provided, Framework Agreement formed as a result of this procurement process shall be executed as a deed. Organisations should seek independent legal advice on the implications of this prior to submitting their bid, where appropriate.
