Description

NHS England South East seeks expressions of interest from providers who have the capability to provide a male ISVA Support Worker to drive up awareness of support for male survivors of rape and sexual abuse in Hampshire and deliver Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) services to males across Hampshire.

The worker employed by the successful provider is expected to already have/gain accreditation in the Male Survivor Quality Standards through accreditation with LimeCulture. The successful provider will work with Hampshire County Council's contracted manager of ISVA services, Yellow Door.

The service will promote and increase the number of male survivors coming forward to seek help and support an existing ISVA provider to deliver a pro-active service to males who have experienced rape or sexual abuse through risk assessment and safety planning; enabling them to access statutory and other services they need and ensuring they are kept informed and supported as their case progresses through the criminal justice system, if that is the route they choose.

Key aspects of the service are identified in the eProcurement portal.

It is envisaged that this contract will be delivered by one, full-time, male ISVA Support Worker with Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.

It is anticipated that the contract will start on 1st February 2020 and run for a period of two years through to 31st January 2022.

This procurement is being carried out by NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit (SCW) on behalf of the Commissioners.
