Rate of Pay: ?15.78 (PAYE)
Hours: 37 hour per week
Location: Working from Home/Operations and Development Centre, Roway Lane Oldbury

About the role
As a Senior Learning and Development Officer you will join our forward -thinking Human Resource Service and play a key role in delivering high quality, innovative learning solutions to employees across the Council. You will facilitate employee learning through the design, delivery and evaluation of training and development solutions across a broad range of subject areas.
To be considered for this exciting role we are looking for someone who:
o is passionate about learning and development and solution focussed
o has a proven track record for delivering learning and development solutions that have achieved the desired outcomes
o can design and deliver innovative and creative learning solutions to meet current and emerging priorities across the organisation.
o has experience that would enable them to quickly contribute to delivery of Health & Safety and compliance training, safeguarding and wellbeing programmes as well as some corporate licensed programmes.

You should be able to demonstrate:
A level 4 professional qualification in learning and development
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Knowledge, skills and experience of training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of learning interventions
Ability to work across multiple projects
Commitment to continuous professional development
A good working knowledge/ understanding of local authority organisations
A good understanding of Health & Safety in regards to statutory training.
