Description

The London Borough of Havering wishes to create an integrated advocacy service for Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Advocacy and NHS Complaints Advocacy (Including Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and Paid Relevant Person's Representative), the primary role of the advocacy service will be to meet all statutory requirements in respect to the Care Act (2015), Independent Mental Capacity Act (2005), Mental Health Act (2007) and the Health and Social Care Act (2012) across all categories of need including, physical disability, learning disability, dementia, those with mental health needs, sensory impairment and acquired brain injury.
