Description

Runnymede Borough Council ('the Council') is currently preparing the Runnymede 2030 Local Plan. The Local Plan will set out the level of development required in the Borough over the period 2015-2030 to meet identified needs, including needs for housing, employment and retail. The Plan will contain a range of allocations to meet needs.
The Council anticipates the submission of its Local Plan to the Secretary of State at the end of July 2018. The Draft Local Plan was recently the subject of public consultation (in January and February 2018) and contains the following commitments by the Council:
o The production of a Design Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
o To review the Borough's seven conservation areas in accordance with the Council's statutory duty.
o To review and update its list of non-designated heritage assets of local architectural or historic interest.
As such to support the on-going Local Plan preparation, the Council is now seeking to engage the services of a consultant to carry out these three important tasks.
