Description

The Council is seeking to appoint an electric cremator manufacturer for the design, manufacture and installation of 2 new cremators for the Astwood Crematorium to replace the 3 existing gas cremators.

The Council is conducting the procurement using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation in accordance with Regulation 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. With reference to the estimated total value of the procurement in Section II.1.5, the Council has included an indicative figure which is based on a potential contract period of 24 months with the new electric cremators being installed and fully operational by December 2025.
