Description

The ROS Maintenance contract (ref:- PPRO 04/09/35) expired on 31/01/16. An extension of 2 months (until 31/03/16) was approved while we went out to tender for a new contract.
A G-cloud search did not identify a new supplier because a more detailed specification was required. Following advice from the Digital Team and Procurement, and due to the complexity of the system and potential risks associated with system unavailability, I am seeking to let a new contract via STA. An Invitation To Tender was sent to the existing supplier based on a revised specification. This contract will be for 1 year with the option to extend for up to 6 months to allow for a transition / handover period following the possible introduction of a new system in 2017 due to new legislation changes being introduced in April 2017.
