Description

ENGIE Services Ltd on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council is seeking Consultancy support to assess, develop and implement a permit scheme within North East Lincolnshire, taking a lead on documentation and consultation activities to allow the authority to join the North and North East Lincolnshire Permit Scheme.

A permit scheme will enable the highway authority to manage and co-ordinate road works more effectively, minimize disruption to road users and to the road network, and assist the council in achieving selected performance indicators within the Local Transport Plan - local bus services, HGV journey times and road conditions.

The role of the consultant in this process is to support the project team from development stage to post implementation support, taking a lead on activities as required by the project lead.
