Description

Home to School Transport DPS

Rochdale and Oldham Council's via STAR Procurement each wish to put in place a Home to School Transport DPS.

This DPS shall be for the provision of Home to School / College transportation for Children and Young Adults with Special Education Needs, which shall be subject to the information, specification, and application pack provided via www.the-chest.org.uk.

Each Council shall set up and manage their own individual DPS arrangements, and this shall not be one joint DPS between the two Council's. This is, however, one joint procurement exercise.

Suppliers are being made aware that while conclusion of the DPS? are not guaranteed in any way, Rochdale Council has received the necessary approval to tender and conclude a DPS. The inclusion of Oldham Council, and their ability to conclude a DPS is not yet confirmed, and is pending their necessary internal approvals. Suppliers will be informed as soon as practical as to any changes in this situation.

BIDDERS DAY
The Council?s shall be holding a Bidders? Day on the 14th December 2015, in Rochdale. You should view the requirement on the Chest for further details.

The published DPS and Call-Off T&Cs, while confirmed for Rochdale Council, are subject to amendment for Oldham Council, as is the Code of Conduct. These documents may be updated during the time the PQQ is out for responses, and possibly even post evaluation. Such changes are unlikely to be significant, and certainly would not alter the outcome of any evaluation process to place onto the DPS. It is not thought that any changes would alter whether an economic operator would or wouldn't bid for the requirements.
