Description

The London Borough of Bromley ("the Council") is inviting tenders for the provision of caretaking responsibilities of Lewis House Independent Living Centre and facilities. The "Independent Living Centre" is located at Lewis House, Beckenham Road, Beckenham, Kent. The facility enables the Council's Occupational Therapist to conduct assessments as well as providing up to date information, advice and guidance on using assistive technology and adaptions to residents of Bromley with the aim of retaining or increasing their independence and choice. The Centre is aimed at providing information and guidance to older and disabled people. Many of the people accessing the Centre do not receive any guidance about aids and adaptions as they do not meet the Council's eligibility criteria for services. A number of courses arranged by the Council's Learning and Development department, including manual handling, take place within the Centre. An indicative volume of training courses can be found in the Service Specification The Provider will be required to enter into a lease agreement for the Lewis House facility at the commencement of the Contract.

The tender opportunity will be run through the London Tenders Procurement Portal and you will need to register your company with the portal as soon as possible (if you have not already done so) at www.londontenders.org to ensure that you are able to access and submit the relevant documents online.

All applications MUST be made through the London Tenders Portal ONLY and NOT to the Contact Details contained within this notice.
