Description
Sheffield City Council is committed to ensuring an informed and supported journey through education and into employment for young people in the city. An important element within this pathway is good guidance. The key elements to guidance that are shown to improve relevance, awareness and aspiration are the enriching experiences delivered by local employers to raise awareness of the local labour market and next steps learning and training organisations. Sheffield is usually active with post 16 events across schools and colleges in the city but the Covid-19 pandemic has reduced the ability for our education organisations to coordinate and deliver such events. Using ESF Business and Education funding, Sheffield City Council is therefore looking for an organisation with strong links in Sheffield to deliver a virtual event focussing on the available local next steps in learning, training or work.
