Description
Medway Council ('The Council') and Medway Clinical Commissioning Group wish to select and appoint a suitable training provider to deliver a series of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training courses to health and social care staff within Medway. Medway Council (on behalf of itself and Medway CCG) invites contractors to submit a quotation (Document 3) to meet the Council's requirements set out in this Invitation to Quote (Document 1) as detailed in the Specification of Requirement (Document 2) and in accordance with these instructions (Document 1) and the Council's Terms and Conditions of Contract.
The training provider will be required to deliver the courses a series of courses. Level 1 being an introduction to the positive behaviour support, Level 2 will be a more advanced course that builds on level 1 and is designed to train individuals who can provide coaching and support to those trained at level 1. PBS awareness to senior leaders, and basic functional assessment. The contract will be managed by the Medway College of Social Care (MCSC).
The courses will be delivered between April 2020 and August 2020. It is estimated that a total of 13 courses (8 level 1, 2 level 2, 2 basic functional assessment and 1 senior leaders awareness course) will delivered within this contract. The hours of each training event should be 10:00 to 16:00 for a minimum of 10 and maximum of 12 delegates.
