Description

• To conduct an independent review of the existing residential and nursing home and domiciliary care market across the NW for local authority commissioned services for older people and people with a learning disability, with a focus on costs and sustainability.

• To carry out predictive analysis for these services to understand the impact of change on the system over the next 5 -10 years. This will incorporate the impact of current commissioning strategies and currently understood new models of care.

• To advise NW ADASS on commissioning strategy (incorporating fees and local authority expenditure, relationships with providers and across local authority borders, new models of care and workforce strategy) and market oversight.
