Description

PQ0168R Birmingham & Solihull Youth Promise Plus Demand Led Solutions: Support to Hearing Impaired NEETs.
*Please note this quotation opportunity is being re-advertised due to lack of market interest*

As part of the commissioning of Demand Led Solutions, in respect of the EU commission funded Birmingham & Solihull Youth Promise Plus (YPP) project, quotations are now invited for delivery of Demand Led Solutions: Support to Hearing Impaired NEETs. Within this service area, providers are required to:
o Recruit, employ, manage and deploy staff as an Intervention Worker Service who, on a case-loaded basis, will engage with, and provide holistic and tailored personal support to NEET (Not Engaged in Education, Employment or Training) young people (15-29 year olds including both unemployed and economically inactive) with the specific aim of progressing them into positive outcomes including education, training, work experience and ultimately sustainable employment.

In addition, to support the specific needs of this client group, providers are required to:
o Recruit, employ, manage and deploy staff as Communication Support Workers who will provide interpreting support to clients accessing job interviews, assessment days and starting employment where no other interpreters are available or Access to Work is not in place due to short notice
o Administer and deliver a Responsive Communication Support Fund to commission additional communication or interpretation support as required.

The contract is scheduled to commence from September 2017 and end in June 2018.
