Description
Tender for the provision of insurance to Erewash Borough Council. The tender is split into Lots as follows:
Lot 1 - Property
Lot 2 - Liability and fidelity guarantee
Lot 3 - Motor Fleet
Lot 4 - Engineering inspection and insurance
Lot 5 - Group personal accident and travel
Lot 6 - Terrorism
This tender excludes broking services.
Tenders can be submitted for all or any individual Lot. Insurers must be authorised to write the classes of insurance listed within the EU Member States subject to English/Welsh Law and jurisdiction of the English/Welsh courts. Potential suppliers may be asked to produce a certificate issued by the appropriate insurance regulatory authority indicating the types of insurance the insurer is authorised to provide and must comply with Departments of Trade and Industry Regulations. All insurers will be required to provide evidence that they are at least "A-" rated by Standard and Poor's (or equivalent) and/ or approved by the JLT Market Security Committee, otherwise their submission will be automatically rejected. Details of membership of any professional body or association and education/Professional qualifications/experience of all staff providing the services, and evidence of risk management capabilities. The Authority is looking for tenders based upon a Long Term Agreement of 5 years plus the option of a 2 year extension.
The deadline for completed tender returns is 12pm on 1st November 2016.
