Description

Scheduled Capital Refurbishment and Upgrade of the Aid to Navigation.

The proposed works principally involve the de-commissioning and removal of existing Optic Lamp Array along with the automatic electrical operating / monitoring system within the NLB Tower for replacement with a new upgraded modern version including 2 No High Power LED Optics.

The NLB owned Tower and Welfare Block are to be totally refurbished and re-painted.
The quarterdeck requires removal of the old engine and battery system inclusive of all associated equipment as detailed in the bill. The NLB Bothy requires connection to the water system along with a full internal upgrade.
