Description

ULTRACAM is a high-speed, three-arm optical CCD camera designed to study astrophysics on fast timescales. It is currently a visitor instrument on the European Southern Observatory's (ESO) 3.5m New Technology Telescope (NTT) at La Silla, Chile. The instrument was built by a consortium involving the Universities of Sheffield, Warwick, and the UK Astronomy Technology Centre in Edinburgh. ULTRACAM was funded by the UK Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC).

The current collimator that we use with ULTRACAM is not optimised for use on the NTT. We are, therefore, opening a tender for the manufacture of a new collimator for ULTRACAM on the NTT.
