Description

BBC Belfast, Broadcasting House is to be redeveloped to an accessible and flexible space that enables greater content production and interaction with the audience. A new building will be constructed and linked to the existing blocks. A plaza space adjacent to the new building will open out as a new entrance to the BBC and the city, improving accessibility to the public and supporting Belfast City Council's vision of Broadcasting House acting as a gateway to City Hall.

The Contract in the first instance for pre-construction services will have a term of 4.5 months commencing on 21st June 2019 and ending on 1st November 2019 . The Contract may be extended at the BBC's discretion by up to 12 months. If the BBC wishes to exercise this option, it will give written notice to the successful provider no later than two months prior to the end of the initial term.

The construction contract will run from December 2019 to January 2023. The Contract may be extended at the BBC's discretion by up to 12 months.
