Description
In order to further the economic prospects of northern Devon, Devon County Council is bringing forward a new
business park on land that it owns at Roundswell, on the outskirts of Barnstaple. This strategic infrastructure
project includes the development of a c.2000m2 new Enterprise Centre as the gateway development for which
the Council has secured funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the Heart of the South
West Local Growth Fund.
The Enterprise Centre will need to be a flexible facility, that can adapt to meet tenants/occupier needs as they
become known and change over time. Internet connectivity within the building, to the standard specified, needs
to be available from when the Centre becomes operational. On the current programme, that is expected to be
Autumn 2020.
