The proposed Works are the construction of a vehicular access point and the design and construction of an electricity substation building to serve land to the west of Kirkleatham Lane. In particular, the works will include:

• A new junction from Kirkleatham Lane and approximately 50m of access road;
• Pedestrian refuge islands on Kirkleatham Lane to assist pedestrians crossing;
• A substation building adjacent to the northern access from Kirkleatham Lane;
• Management of utility diversions and protection works.

The closing time for tenders is 1pm on 18 January 2017.

The contract will be subject to English law. Tenders and all supporting documents must be priced in GBP and all payments under the contract will be made in GBP.

This procurement and award is subject to the transparency arrangements being adopted by the UK Government. These arrangements include the publication of tender documentation issued by the HCA and the contract between the HCA and supplier.
