Description

The Council is looking to appoint a provider of Audio Visual Equipment to configure and install equipment for use in a formal Council committee meeting setting and other settings as identified in the Specification. This will be across three spaces (Council Chamber 1, Council Chamber 2 and the Ferneley Room) at Melton Borough Council, Parkside, Burton St, Melton Mowbray LE13 1GH.

The anticipated contract commencement date for the installation is 15th March 2021, with the equipment being installed and fully implemented for use by no later than 31st March 2021 including user acceptance testing (UAT) and any remedial works identified as part of UAT. (Please note that this procurement exercise is subject to Council approval of funding in February 2021, therefore any award will not be made until that approval has been confirmed)

Alongside the installation, the contract will also be for ongoing maintenance of the equipment. The maintenance contract will have an initial period of 36 months with an option to extend for two further periods of 24 months, making 84 months in total (36+24+24).
