Description
Gilbert White & The Oates Collections (GWOC) are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Main Contractor who will be acting as Principal Contractor under the terms of the CDM Regulations 2015. GWOC are inviting Pre-Qualification Questionnaires for the Main Contract works at the Towards Sustainability Inspiring Journeys of the Natural World Project. The work will form part of a project which will comprehensively repair, restore and conserve the site, developing sustainable uses for the main buildings, while interpreting the story of the site to a diverse audience. Contractors are being sought who demonstrate both the capacity to carry out conservation projects of similar size and complexity and who can demonstrate the high level of care and craft skills required for work on the important historic site. The works will include, but are not limited to, the repair, restoration and conservation of the building fabric, along with Mechanical and Electrical installations, joinery/carpentry works, finishing works and external hard and soft landscaping.
