Description

Acivico Limited requires a supplier for the provision of External Audit services.

Acivico Limited and its subsidiaries is a private limited company wholly owned by Birmingham City Council. The Group (including

Acivico Limited Company) currently consists of Building Consultancy Limited and Design, Construction and Facilities Management (DCFM) Limited although in the future may set up further companies under the Group structure. Collectively and individually, the companies are referred to as Acivico. Acivico currently has two Local Government Pension Schemes.

• To comply with the requirements as set out in the Companies Act 2006 for private limited companies;
• Auditing the Group and companies accounts in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice); and
• Undertake the auditing of the companies' financial statements in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) (UK).

The first year of this contract will be 2019/20. The contract will be for one year in the first instance with an option to extend for a further two 12 month periods subject to satisfactory performance and agreement of fees, up to a maximum duration of three years.
