Description
Sunderland City Council is seeking to award a contract for an Integrated Drug and Alcohol Recovery and Harm Minimisation Service that aims to provide an integrated model and places Service Users, their families and Carers, at the heart of the recovery process.
The service will take a recovery focused approach to enable people to improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential.
The Service will be delivered using the principles of a whole system approach which will comprise of the following 5 broad areas of activity:
• Access to Specialist Drug and Alcohol Harm Minimisation;
• Identification and support for Higher Risk Drinkers;
• Structured treatment for adults who are dependent on drugs or alcohol;
• Support for system Integrated Working;
• Completion and recovery.
