Description
Professional Services to undertake Condition Surveys at Various Sites across the Borough of Swindon
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of professional services to undertake Condition Surveys at various sites across the Borough of Swindon.
Swindon Borough Council (SBC) is issuing this Request for Quote ("RFQ") in relation to the procurement of multi-discipline surveying services to produce detailed building stock condition reports for a number of assets in the Council's property portfolio.
The Councils corporate building portfolio is in excess of 200 properties. Building types vary from offices, public conveniences, community centers, libraries, changing rooms, caretaker's residence, schools, leisure buildings, farms, residential buildings, recreation and country parks etc. however some of these assets are multiple buildings on one site. There have been a number of assets identified within each of the condition surveys lots, which will be tendered as follows:
LOT 1 - Education Properties
LOT 2 - Corporate Buildings
LOT 3 - Farm Estates
LOT 4 - Social Care Buildings
LOT 5 - Combined Educational, Corporate and Social Care Buildings
Please note that lot 5 will be awarded in lieu of lots 1,2 and 4 if economically advantageous to do so.
The initial contract term will be for 36 months as stated in the RFQ documents.

To participate, Suppliers will need to Register as a Supplier with ProContract, www.supplyingthesouthwest.org.uk, then Register an Interest before obtaining access to the tender documents. Tender clarifications to be submitted in writing via Messaging in ProContract tender portal by 18th August 2023, 1400 hrs UK Local time. The Council's responses to these clarification questions will be issued periodically on the ProContract tender portal.
