Description

De Montfort University (DMU) seeks to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to carry out the following Queens Building Re-roofing and associated works:
The works consist of the. the below Schedule of Works relates to the re-roofing of the central atrium area of the Queens Building, including any associated works required for the replacement of the roof and its insulation requirements to meet with the current building regulation standards or better.
o Including leadworks, parapet repairs and repointing as required to joints and verges.
o The contractor is to engage with their own M&E sub-contractor to deal with any plant, pipework or lightning protectors as part of their works.
o Part of these works includes timber repairs and decoration to previously painted area including, window, doors / door frames, soffits and facia boards etc this list is not exhaustive and is to be read in conjunction with the Dulux specification and workmanship clauses.
o You are to act as Principle Contractor and coordinate all associated works as required.
