Description

To provide new storage facility for Field Operations plant & equipment, tools and PPE, by providing a new steel framed metal clad storage building on a clear area of the existing Environment Agency Trentside Nottingham site (NG2 5FA).
This is a retender for previous projects referenced 22709 and 23114 which were aborted. The project has been scaled back by removing all of the external works such as the car park, surface water drainage, landscaping, fencing & perimeter, internal mezzanine and internal/external electrical installation works. The Environment Agency, acting as the Employer will also now undertake the initial ground clearance of the site, including the removal of the existing fencing and removal & disposal of the existing topsoil material and replacing with clean road stone to a depth of approximately 200mm to a flat/level finish. The project still includes the construction of the steel framed storage building and associated ground & foundation works, external cladding & roofing.
The Contractor shall manage all stages of the project including the sourcing/procuring of the plant/equipment/materials, all construction works, the submission/inspection/sign-off of the building regulations, and the site management of the overall project.
