Description

The purpose of this invitation to tender is to assist University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust to select a suitably qualified supplier for the provision of x6 Pay & Display Machines, of which x5 will be for our Furness General Hospital site at Barrow in Furness and the remaining x1 machine at our Royal Lancaster Infirmary site. The machines will be replacing existing equipment in current locations.

Although the likelihood is that the machines will be required to be provided on a lease basis, the objective of this procurement is to also investigate the comparable costs of purchasing the equipment. Therefore, for the purpose of clarity, this procurement exercise will include both lease and buy options.

The machines are to be installed at:
Furness General Hospital - x5 machines
Royal Lancaster Infirmary - x1 machine

Requirements:
Supplier, Delivery, Installation, Commissioning and ongoing Maintenance for 3 years of the Car Park Meters and Back Office Software.
Customer payment by card and cash.
240-volt power with the option of solar panel back up - provide details as per the Evaluation Questionnaire.
Call-outs for repairs and breakdowns as part of the maintenance - the bidder shall confirm the call-out response times.
A Final Inspection Certificate shall be provided.
Print out of money taken on opening the machine.
Spare safe keys for each machine.
Spare Safe Box Keys for each machine.
No change given on cash purchases.
Tariff changes by Trust staff at no cost.

Warranty
Confirm the warranty period of the machines - as per the Evaluation Questionnaire.

Lead times
Time to complete the works as per the Evaluation Questionnaire.

Contract Period
The contract is required to commence as from August 8th 2022 for an initial period of THREE years, expiring July 31st 2025, however, with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional 24 months.
