Description

The Northern Inclusion Consortium (NIC), is an established partnership of four of the North East's largest charities - DISC, Groundwork, Changing Lives and Mental Health Concern. See www.niconsortium.org for more information.
The NIC is inviting interested parties to tender for the provision of engagement activity & volunteer services in Darlington as part of the Step Forward Tees Valley Programme.
Working with a broader set of delivery partners we are delivering the Big Lottery Fund / European Social Fund funded Building Better Opportunities Programme in Tees Valley through the Step Forward Tees Valley Programme. The programme aims to improve employability for the most disadvantaged and provide help to those with multiple and complex needs using a case management model. For more information about the programme please follow this link www.sfteesvalley.co.uk.
We now wish to buy in additional provision to encourage suitable people to access and engage with the programme and to develop volunteering opportunities in the Darlington area.
The Northern Inclusion Consortium is inviting interested parties to tender for the supply and delivery of a service across the Darlington area to:
- Increase the access and engagement of participants onto the SFTV programme
- Build the capacity of organisations to provide volunteering opportunities
- Provide participants on the programme with volunteering opportunities
- Provide ongoing support to participants and organisations during the volunteering placement
- Work with other partners to increase the skill, knowledge base and employability prospects of participants on the programme.
Download the Invitation For Tender for full information on this provision and how to submit a tender.
