COMSOL is a specialist software which is required by a few members of the engineering faculty to undertake specialist calculations, such as specific MEMS and CFD models, investigations into thermodynamic property changes in systems, and thermomechanical stress changes. COMSOL covers areas of engineering modelling which cannot be found in other softwares.
