FOR INFORMATION ONLY Somerset County Council wish to hold a Soft Market Testing Event. The scope of the services Somerset County Council are looking to procure now include the supply of: Meat Seafood and Fish Dairy Fruit and Vegetables Ambient food Frozen food Chilled food Kitchen supplies The Soft Market Testing Event will be held on 29/11/2017. The event will take place at Dillington House, Somerset and will be an opportunity for all suppliers to engage through a common format with the teams. The event will provide background to this market request, and provide a forum to gather feedback and thoughts. A follow up questionnaire will be provided to all suppliers. The purpose of the event is to gain feedback in relation to the structure of the service specification, tender and tendering process. An agenda and soft market testing pack is attached to the advert on the Supplying the South West Portal. Due to venue size we would ask suppliers to request attendance for no more than 2 people from each organisation. Time: 09:30 - 13:30 Date: Wednesday, November 29th 2017 Venue: Dillington House, Ilminster, Somerset Parking: car parking is available at the above venue. Organisations that take part will not be advantaged or disadvantaged in any way in the procurement process that follows. Commercial confidentiality will be respected.
