Description
The College of Policing is seeking to appoint a Supplier to create a serious violence hot spots toolkit which contains the following:
An evidence-based guide on tactics/interventions that have the potential to effectively reduce serious violence in policing hot spots, broken down into distinct crime types where the evidence allows.
For each tactic/intervention included, an assessment will be made of:
(i) The quality of the evidence.
(ii) The effect on crime.
(iii) Any implementation considerations (as supported by the
evidence).
The toolkit will be user-friendly and accessible to front line officers, police staff analysts and strategic decision-makers, including Police and Crime Commissioners.
