NOTE: This notice was updated on 26 August 2022 for the following reason: Closing date extended from the 29th August 2022 to the 9th September 2022.(The Urban Greening Study will form part of the Council's evidence to inform its Local Plan Review and provide justification for a new policy proposal on urban greening. A key priority for the Council, as set out in the Telford & Wrekin Council Plan 2022-26, is to protect our natural environment as well as take a leading role in addressing the climate change emergency. Securing urban greening in new developments is vital for achieving this priority, alongside other policy approaches to be introduced and/or strengthened through the Local Plan Review. In order to secure urban greening in developments to an appropriate and achievable level, evidence work is required to inform an Urban Greening Factor to be included in the Local Plan Review.)
