Description

The Department for International Development (DFID) is committed to increasing and improving the teachingand learning, at Key Stages 2 and 3, of issues related to global poverty in state schools across the UK, throughGlobal Learning Projects (GLPs). This will allow more school leavers to have a thorough knowledge andunderstanding of global poverty and the ways it can be reduced. To ensure schools across the UK are supported, DFID intends to fund Global Learning Projects (GLPs) in Scotland and Wales.
