Description

The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the Provision of X-Ray Fluorescence Analyser Equipment (including maintenance and spare parts) on behalf of the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, Castings Group at Catcliffe, South Yorkshire.

Scope of Requirement
The University of Sheffield have a requirement to purchase an XRF instrument in order to analyse the chemical composition of Uranium and Uranium Alloys.
Instrumentation provided must have a dedicated calibrated programme for analysis of Uranium or if this does not come as standard it must be set up during the commissioning of the equipment and subject to acceptance testing.
As part of your offering, training must be provided in order for several users to be proficient in operating the machine and using the software.
It is a requirement that this equipment includes a computer and monitor, and any other hardware and related ancillary equipment needed for effective operation.

This procurement is conducted in accordance with the Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations 2011. An NDA will need to be signed before the ITT is released via tracked and signed for mail.
