Description

Portsmouth City Council 'the Council', acting on behalf of the Partnership for South Hampshire (PfSH) - is seeking an appropriately qualified supplier to prepare a Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA) for the majority of the PfSH region, along with the whole local planning authority areas for Test Valley Borough Council and Winchester District Council.

The scope of the SFRA will need be to an appropriate level of detail to fulfil the requirements of a level 1 SFRA set out in government guidance on Strategic Flood Risk Assessment.

PfSH requires:
o Evidence Review
o Strategic Flood Risk Assessment Modelling and Local Authority Area Guidance

The estimated value of the project will be in the region of ?100,000 - ?150,000, excluding fees charged by the Environment Agency for reviewing modelling. However, further associated commissions, such as subsequent support at local plan examinations, may be let via the contract up to a total cumulative value of ?300,000 up to a period of 3 years from commencement of the contract.

The Contract period will be for 12 months with the possibility of extending the initial contract term, in increments to be agreed, to a maximum of 36 months and subject to the performance and agreement of both parties.

The council is using the Open Procedure and the timetable is as follows:
