Description

This specification relates to the electrical works required to install a UPS within the existing main low voltage switch room located in the Bob Champion building located on the research park close to the NHS hospital site.
The intention is for the essential services distribution to be supplemented by the installation of a UPS to keep services running during a power cut while the generator starts and supports the load.
The work must be carefully scheduled as the building is fully occupied and interruptions to electrical supplies must be scheduled with the building users prior to any isolations taking place.
