Description

Trauma Informed Care Training.
Hampshire County Council along with its partners Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group, Southampton City Council and Southern Health Foundation Trust have set up a cross agency Trauma Informed Care Project. One of the key deliverables for our Trauma Informed Care project is Trauma Informed Care (TIC) training for learning disability operational staff and younger adult commissioning staff within Adult Services Hampshire County Council, Southampton City Council, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (excluding the Isle of Wight) and LD operational staff from Southern Health Foundation Trust. We are seeking one day online TIC training for all staff working in community learning disabilities health and social care teams, alongside commissioners (265 staff). We are also seeking more in-depth TIC training for a small number of staff (16) in order that they can become TIC Champions or Educators being able to then deliver TIC training sessions to other staff supporting longer time sustainability of the TIC model.

If you are interested in this opportunity then we would like to invite you to register on Hampshire County Councils In-Tend Portal (link blew) with a view to becoming an approved provider on the above DPS for Specialist Learning and Development Services. This will then allow your organisation to be involved in a forthcoming requirement for "Trauma Informed Care Training" for HCC and its partners.

Registering on Hampshire County Councils In-Tend Portal is free and to apply for a position on the above DPS will involve the completion of a Pre-qualification questionnaire. Full guidance to register is attached to this communication and further information on the DPS is included within In-Tend under the reference AS08703.

The DPS has been divided into lots and Trauma Informed Care Training will be procured through Lot 9 - Social Care Professional Development.
Potential Suppliers can apply for single or multiple lots dependant on your organisations specialism and where you can meet the requirements of the lot and its requirements.
