Description

Swindon Borough Council (SBC),invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the provision of maintenance, repair and improvement of its Vacant Properties to meet its repairing obligations as a landlord and minor works (covering such matters as repairs to ensure fire safety, repairs and minor works to corporate buildings, emergency works to make safe following a major incident).

Project Description
The contractors will be required to undertake works to bring the vacant properties up to lettable standard to reduce the length of time of the property left empty.

It is anticipated that up to five companies will be awarded contracts to deliver these works under a framework agreement.

Subsequent to the supplier selection, the award of the contract will be made entirely on quality considerations. The price for the works shall be set by the Council as per the tender documentation. The prices are fully inclusive of all preliminary costs, overheads and profit.
